We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team!

At Mark och Trädgård Skottorp, we are now seeking an experienced and self-driven excavator operator for our assignments. Are you a skilled operator with an eye for precision and safety? Do you want to work in a stable company with varied projects primarily for the municipality? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We have offices in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, Halmstad, and Varberg.

Your daily life in your new team

As an excavator operator with us, you will work in a fun team where we respect each other. You will be based in Helsingborg, and we mainly work with lighter construction projects, where being a team player is essential. We are looking for a humble person who is not stuck in the machine but is ready to help wherever needed within our contracts, with all types of work such as planting, paving, service jobs, and other miscellaneous tasks that may arise. We value varied work.

In winter, we help each other with snow removal in either Ängelholm or Helsingborg, with standby duty.

You will work with

• Simple repairs of gravel roads/paths and filling of materials
• New construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths
• Service jobs such as paving, construction work where you work either independently or together with a colleague. Simple jobs like putting up road signs.
• Excavations of flower beds in central Helsingborg
• Assisting with snow removal in winter where standby duty is included

Machine fleet: The machines you will primarily work with are our Wacker Neuson wheeled excavator weighing 10 tons. We also use Weidemann wheel loaders in our work. Your job includes maintenance and daily inspection of the machine.

What are we looking for?

• Good collaboration skills and responsibility
• Humble team player who can help where needed

Requirements for the position:

• Experience operating excavators (tracked and/or wheeled)
• Professional certificate for excavator; wheel loader is a big plus.
• Driver's license B
• Good ability to read drawings and work independently
• Swedish in speech and writing

Other:

• Salary according to collective agreement
• Permanent employment with a 6-month probation period
• Location in Helsingborg, but work may take place in various locations
• Start date according to agreement
